| Interior of the Sebastiani Theatre where I taught drama to my Mini
Players.
This was the site of the 1st Cancel
Christmas performance. The Boys and Girls Club of Sonoma asked the Mini
Players to do a Halloween show for them - after the Halloween show the B &
G Club asked for a Christmas show. I decided to do an original and started
writing Cancel Christmas - we were in rehearsal while I wrote the second
act. We performed the show for three seasons and then I moved bck to
Holiywood. During that time in Sonoma, I formed a community group called "The Wizard Workshop." We produced "The Saga of Sonoma" in front of a church on West Spain Street. Also ran the "First (and Last), Music Hall, Medicine Show" at the Community Center.
