Looks at Love and Life

You will not be disappointed!
I first saw Woody at the Clover Club on Biscayne Blvd. in Miami, Florida. Biscayne Blvd. was across the street from the park and the water front. I was working on a sport fishing boat on Pier 5 (That would have been in the late forties or early fifties.) I went over to hear him many times. He was great! He played the piano as he ad libed joke after joke. He was, and is, funnier than most of the top comedians of today!
In 1954, when I returned from New York, I met the Vagabonds and eventually worked with their band leader, Frank Linale, setting up the sound and the stage for the incoming shows at the Vagabond Club. The club was down the street from the Clover Club on Biscayne Blvd. Woody came to play in the lounge, and that is when I got to know him. He had been friends with the Vagabonds for a long time.
I have two of his albums and I will be posting the covers on here soon.

I just received an email from Woody. He is living in Florida and taking bookings only in Florida. He likes the warm weather. I don't blame him, I miss Florida and the Bahamas.
I have neglected the celebrity site for some time and am going to update it soon.
The Titles of his albums: Woody Woodbury Looks at Love and Life - Woody Woodbury's Laughing Room
(I went on Woody's site and borrowed his photos of the two albums I have.)
