LEE ANN LACK, Flushing, NY, GOD Bless You Monti. Glad to see photos of you
and happy to hear that you will be coming east again for the show in
Atlantic City. You gave us many hours of happiness on Johnny Carson. Stay

Daria Spenke, Berlin, Deutschland, , Dear Mr. Monti Rock III, I remember
seeing you often on Merv Griffin (I was in the audience). You were ALWAYS
the main guest who's personality plus was extra-ordinaire for tv. All the
tv shows in which you were a guest, my family made sure we watched it. You
were AHEAD of the times/era/generation!

Philip Eskow, Staten Island, New York - Hi Monti. Its been a long time
when you perform at my uncles club 2001 odyssey when you film Saturday
Night Fever. I was one of the managers of that club when the movie was
being made. You even know my brother Steven Eskow, from Steven Eskow show
in Florida. I am glad that you are doing great. when you get into the New
Jersey or New York area give me a call. I haven't seen you for over 32
years. I still stay in touch with the boys from 2001 Odyssey. Hope to
speak to you soon. Philip Eskow

Bob Pitch, Lumberton NJ 08048, , Monti, its great to see you after all
these years!!! I was performing at the Americana Caribbean in Aruba in the
early 80's and you were performing at the hotel next to us. We used to say
hello on the beach everyday. I had a friend over last night and somehow
the name Monti Rock came up and he said "I've got to show you this" and he
turned me on to your site. Glad to see you are well. Do you remember Hedy
Lamar being on that beach also? She lived in the room next to mine and was
on that beach everyday. Cheers Monti!!

Aloha Monti!
It is certainly great to see you are stil in showbiz. When I was a
teenager growing up in Milwaukee, I remember seeing you on the Merv
Griffin Show in the mid 60s and also on The Tonight Show in the early 70s
after I moved to California. You were and still are fabulous. You were
liberated way back then. I wish you all the best in life. As in Miss
Tina Turner's song, you are SIMPLY THE BEST?-Yes

Dear Monti,
It was not until November of 2004 that I first heard Disco Tex and The
Sex-O-Lettes. My manger at work gave me your original LP record and told
me to check it out. Within the first song I was hooked! A hobby of mine is
taking video my friends and I having a good time and then making edited
videos of the footage. After a while I put these videos on my personal
website. As a tribute to your music I used the Disco Tex record as the
theme to a Pimp's and Hoe's theme party we all attended. Made music videos
using the songs. Then all my friends were looking to buy that same record!
You can view the video on my personal website http://monti.com
We make no profit on our videos there simple made to entertain friends and
to practice on video editing.
I hope you enjoy

so ahead of your time. Your music and voice are awesome. I would love to
have a autograph picture. I wish you had a cd i could purchase You were
truly the beginning of a certain style of rock and roll. You were just so
much ahead of your time. I hope you could be inducted in the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame.

I remember Monti Rock III with
great fondness from the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I doubt
that I ever missed a show when Sir Rock was on. You are an ICON!!!
LOVE YOU and glad to hear you are well!!!!
I emailed The
Tonight Show and received an immediate automatic response. It was
quite insulting and stated that due to heavy volume they could not answer
each one and to go to another site to see if my question would be answered
and show ideas, etc. would be deleted and not read.
It shows how much they appreciate the viewers.

It was so cool to find your site! My husband and I were talking
about you this evening, and I set out on the internet to find you and I
DID! I loved you on the Carson Show, I made it a point to always
tune in when I knew you were going to be there.
Thank you for all the wonderful evenings I spent watching you on the show.
How much I laughed and enjoyed your antics, and was so terribly sad when
you stop appearing. I really think Jay Leno Should have you on, but
of course he is not of the caliber of Johnny Carson.
Thank for staying out there and making others happy. If I ever get a
chance to visit my brother, who lives in Las Vegas, I will try to find
where you are. I would love to meet you.
Again thank you for some fine memories!

04/28/2004 -Monti performed in the
New York area, I wonder if he has heard of Smokey and Shorty Warren? I
played bass in their band in the early 70's. We played clubs in the New
York and New Jersey area. We were an opening act for Nashville stars
such as Jack Greene, Jeannie Shepard, Hank Snow, Faron Young, David
Houston and others.

Hi Monti! I saw you on TV in the early days and immediately new I
was witnessing 'Charisma' personified! Soon after I heard and loved
"For Days" and have been looking for a recording of it since.
However, what really cemented my admiration of you Monti was the classy
and reserved way you handled the abuse forced on you, on the tonight show,
by (I believe) Henny Youngman. You were so far ahead stylistically and
socially that the old buzzard couldn't handle it. The incident only showed
which was the person you'd want to admire or associate with (wow, I
could only imagine). The Best of Everything for you Monti!

Hello, Monty! Redd Stewart; country musician/songwriter of
songs such as, Tennessee Waltz, Slow Poke, ect... was my father, and
someone just e-mailed me about if I remembered a version of the Tennessee
Waltz
that was done on the Johnny Carson show about 30-35 years ago?
Johnny had a guest on his show by the name of Monty Rock III singing a
rock-n-roll version of the Tennessee Waltz. My father passed away
this past August 2003, and we have launched a tribute site to him at: www.monti.com
We would like to invite you to visit & would love for you to enter
your version of Tennessee Waltz into our contest we just started running!

Looking for a song you did on the Merv Griffen show years age
titled "I'm afraid the masquerade is over". Do you know if
it was ever recorded on to a 45 or LP? How can I find a copy of it?
Here are the lyrics, and below is a complete list of the artists who
recorded that song.
I'm afraid the masquerade is over (Herb Magidson / Allie Wrubel)
My blue horizon is turning gray
And my dreams are drifting away
Your eyes don't shine like they used to shine
And the thrill is gone when your lips meet mine
I'm afraid the masquerade is over
And so is love, and so is love
Your love and so is love
I guess I'll have to play Pagliacci and get myself a clown's
disguise
And learn to laugh like Pagliacci with tears in my eyes
You look the same
You're a lot the same
But my heart says "No, no, you're not the same"
I'm afraid the masquerade is over
And so is love, and so is love
Your words don't mean what they used to me
They were once inspired, now they're just routine
I'm afraid the masquerade is over
